What is startup investing?

1 Answer(s)

Individuals who invest in startups provide capital to early-stage companies to help them develop and grow during the initial phases of the business.  Startups are typically technology-driven businesses that have the potential of achieving widespread adoption in a relatively short amount of time.  Some common startups that began as early-stage tech companies are Google, eBay, Facebook, Dropbox, and Twitter.
